I've had the chance recently to check out a local DC act called The Vita Ruins . Unfortunately they were the opening act for a band I had intended to see after them and I feel they were better then the main act!

Their music is sort of reminiscent of the more electronic radio head , I guess kinda "airy" and "spacey". Live they were great (much better then their debut EP ... samples of which are on their myspace page).

Anyways if your ever in the DC area I reccomend checking them out.
