No I haven't seen Rose Red but I do like Stephen King's older stuff. "It" (The movie not the acronym lol) was a great movie ... and made me scared of clowns for the longest time lol.

Aside from those already mentioned, I would recommend the Alien series and classics like Béla Lugosi's movies. They may not be as scary as more modern movies, but they're good.

If you watch The Shining, make sure you go for the Nicholson version. It's much scarier than the remake.

I had to re-read that like 5 times, then I remembered the clown, so that tipped me off. Yes, "It" was a great movie :D
