Hey there,
Since this is about movies, I think TV series do fit in here
do you watch any? I'm a fan of them, the best I've watched by now are Weeds, Californication, The Class (canceled), and now I'm watching Dexter, what you think? :)

I've been loving Weeds and Californication, but I was pretty disappointed by this last week's episodes. Both were a bit darker than usual, with the death of Hank's father and the whole episode being flashbacks on Californication. Then over on Weeds dealt with the breast cancer issue (showing the scars), and the little kids getting high for the first time saying "is this the moment where we become cool?". I found that scene especially disturbing

I have heard of Californication with David Duchovny. I have seen the trailer for it, and it will air in the UK on prime television this week. I have not heard of the others. Most of the American shows get shown here later in the UK, as noted.

Hmm I've been watching a lot of Family Guy recently. So happy to see new episodes.

Well you can't go wrong with Seinfeld. I'm still amazed the networks have yet to find anything close to the greatness of the show. How can you run out of ideas, plot twists etc for a show that's about nothing?

Pure brilliancy inmo.

Now Simpson's have declined in quality in the past few years. I think some people peg it at around 1999 when a lot of the original writers left the show. Not a bad show still, but no where near as great as it used to be.

Southpark had a similar decline but since they still have the same writers as they used to they were able to pull it back up.

Welcome to the forum BTW :-) Always glad to see a new face around.

Scrubs was good for the first 4 seasons or so. It's just at a loss now...there's only so much you can do in a show with such a limited setting. I'll be watching it's final season though when it starts next week.
