Need idea's for user ranks

Since I'm not creative I need some idea's for user ranks (to change as users post count increases).

Any suggestions? I want to keep away from the standard "Jr. Member, Member etc" and would like it themed around music and movies.

I am sure you can come up with something, if you want to keep it original it's always nice for it to reflect the theme of the board.

What about, the following suggestion I just made up on the spot;

1-100 = Fresh Freak or Rocker

200 -500 (middle)= Indie Fanatic

1,000 = Ultimate Freak

5,000 + = Indie Born Freak

I'll probably end up coming back, to this post with new ideas. Hows that for starters?

could also add maybe gold or plat. since records sells go by those

You should do something along the lines of what you had earlier, such as struggling artist.
Maybe:

"on the street corner"
"jam session"
"homemade studio"
"self-released single"
"studio plus!"
"self-released EP"
"officially signed"
"first album!"
"tour the world!"
"second album!"
"going platinum!"

Blah blah blah. I can take some more time to think of better ones if you like the concept. I think it would be really cool to become a "better musician", aye? Or at least drive up the ranks of the music career ladder.
Word!
