I just started a adsense campaign for this site. I'm not spending much (like 1.50 / day) so we shall see where this takes me. Its a fun experiment (just like this site) so hopefully it will bring some much needed targeted traffic to this site.

I'll report back if anything comes from it as I am tracking clicks that actually sign up for account.

What exactly does this campaign entail?
When someone searches google for indie, your ad will pop up?

I think so. So far it hasn't done much ... but I am targeting certain key words (ie searches).

Let me know know if you sense any luck with Google. I've been doing the same, about $2.00 a day for the past two weeks, and it hasn't done anything for me.

Yea not much luck now .... about 40 some odd clicks and no sign ups from google. I'm not giving up all hope though.

I'm in the same boat. I figured I'd give it a month. I'll probably pause it after that month, and then give my forum a few more months to grow. Good luck though, and keep me posted....I'm very interested to hear your ongoing results.

Aye and likewise ... I read on another site that people were typically spending around $50 before they got a register from adsense ... might be true.
