For me probably not the best but, most memorable I would have to say a classical music concert out in the open in a Palace Garden in Portugal. It was fantastic, as the orchestra were moving with their instruments around us. The overall music experience of it was divine from that perspective as they, were interacting with us.
O wow that does sound nice! My hometown has whats called the "Sunset symphony" Where the town's orchestra plays on a stage in front of our river while the sun is setting. Very very relaxing.

The next one not really a show/festival as Fado in Portugal is considered to be a poetic art in it's finest beauty. I went to a restaurant and listened to a lady sing Fado all night, and boy that was out of this world. A truely mesmorising irreplaceable experience, especially in the environment I was in.
For those who may not be familiar with fado, check out the following link. This is what a typical evening of Fado sounds like;
Never heard of Fado ... I'll have to check that link when I get home from work.
