We're near Russia (that's a huge place) ... near the Black Sea too ..

I know where Romania is ... probably one of the few Americans that do. Last year I did a fairly in depth paper on Vlad Tepes.

has anyone ever heard of gwar?

my friend just went and saw them (strictly to say that he did, not for actual interest).

they had "blood" shoot out of the fire sprinklers.

similar to the first Blade movie, towards the beginning, the blood rave.

i gave him a good 'wtf'

I haven't been to too many shows but these were epic. Andrew Bird was so adorable and amazing. Played in his sock feet. It was in Carnegie Music Hall, so the acoustics were AMAZING. What a talented guy! And Built to Spill played a 20 minutes encore of Broken Chairs, which is probably my favorite BtS song. Just amazing.

:)

Also, I'm new here and this is my first post. I love to chat on AIM if anyone wants to hit me up. You all seem really cool already. Peace.

I live in Boise, Built to Spill's hometown. I've seen them live several times, before they really kicked it all off.
