Radiohead's put the final touches on its album and will self-release it digitally starting Oct. 10. The album, which was in the works for months, arrives on Radiohead's digital servers for fans to download Oct. 10.

A second option allows fans to get their hands on a physical "discbox" copy, which includes not only a CD version of the album, but In Rainbows on two heavyweight vinyl pressings, assorted liner notes and artwork all bound up in a hardback binding for the low price of $81.75

No track listing's been made available, but according to photgraphs on the band's website a partial track listing includes:

15 Step
Bodysnatchers
Nude
Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
All I Need
Faust Arp
Reckonerstolen from Aversion
House of Cards
Jigsaw Falling Into Place
Videotape

Yeah, I'm just a little excited — and by just a little, I mean I can hardly contain myself.

Got some more news to add to this

Quote:
Fans of the band Radiohead crashed the website after thousands people logged on to buy their latest album 'In Rainbows'.The new album can only be bought on http://www.radiohead.com.
The full discbox can be bought for 40 pounds(In British Pound) and includes two CD's, two records and artwork and booklets. Or fans can just go for download.Spokesman for the band said the website's problems was being ironed out and added that a wave of fans logging onto the site had caused the problem.

As Radiohead is my favorite band, needless to say, I'm pretty pumped.

I still can't believe fans crashed their site yesterday. Oct 10th is a ways away lol.

I can't imagine what is going to happen on the 10th to the servers.

On the way to work today XMU was reporting that this album is a big FU to the record companies. I'm definitely buying it.

Of course it is.
And record companies deserve it for what they are demanding.
I know pirating and sharing music has killed the industry.
But they shouldn't take anything over an extra 10% of sales, not to mention the fact that they are now taking portions of bands' touring and concert sales as well, which isn't the norm with labels.
Good for you Radiohead.
The record companies should start getting it into gear and instead of punishing the bands, try to find out a way to punish the public.
Which won't happen.
So they are screwed.
Word.
Radiohead ftw.
