Ratatouille .. just seen a part of the movie since I was also working on my sites. And then I would see few minutes, then work again .. I stopped at the middle of the movie since it was too late and I wanted to go to sleep.

American Gangster.

Nuff said.

Let's immortalize Denzel as a badass. Go back to John Q., move ahead to Remeber the Titans, then to Man on Fire, and now this? Too much to handle.

Ehh I didn't like American Gangster to much .... they sort of played Frank Lucas as a good guy when in reality he was a ruthless criminal.

They had a interview of him on History Channel recently. He was *still* proud of the fact that he turned Harlem into a bunch of junkies. His defence was along the lines of if it wasn't him it would be some one else.

While true, I don't see how someone could be proud of accomplishing such a feat.

I guess you have to stand in his place and push aside ethics.

I find it astounding that one man could control Harlem. Not only that, but have a vice grip on it.

I felt they didn't make him 'ruthless' enough, but that wouldn't come across well with audiences if Denzel played a truly villain role in any movie. and they are shooting for box office and entertainment.

Although the first 20 seconds of the movie portray him as fearlessly brutal.

I can see myself watching it again when it comes out to rent to make sure i didn't miss anything, but other than that, I don't know that i would watch it again.

it reminded me a lot of "The Godfather", but not near as good of course. =]

Next one on my list to see next week: Hitman.
