I am SO excited about this, I didn't think there was guna be a Saw 4?!

1,2, and 3 were excellent, love the twists and turns.

Comes out in a couple of weeks I think? I saw an illegal trailer, looks up to scratch

I never got into that series but was amused by it's success.

Then again I'm not a big horror fan. I do like some of the other movies Lions Gate released though.

I am on the same page Bookie.
However, I thought they brought it to a clean conclusion on 3. I don't know how they are going to deal with 4. But i'm stoked just by the phrases they were using in the trailer, such as "all the games so far have been completely irrelevant to an overlying story that no one has known about". Not an exact quote but it was something close.

I watched the first Saw movie by accident with my roommate. Actually, he is "trimanium" on these forums.
After that, I was so compelled by the twist in the end that I had to watch the 2nd. The same defying twist was prevalent and so I watched the 3rd and once again...just wow.
Not to mention the intricate delving into a human being's will to survive, the thought process of a serial killer, the turning of innocence, all blended into slightly cringing horror.

I HATE horror movies. I couldn't sleep for a week after watching the Grudge. But for some reason....I handle this series well and of all things, enjoy it!

I'm not a big horror fan either, just love a decent storyline and films where at the end you sit and go, ohhhh yeah now I get it. If ya know what I mean...

Impressive thoughts risingcrisis.

Well in his defense Saw did start out indie. However on another note Transformers was just plain bad.

I loved Saw 1, I also really enjoyed Saw 2 although I had to watch it multiple time to understand it. Saw 3 was even more confusing and crazy but I enjoyed it. I'm really interested to see whats going to happen in the fourth installment.

Yeah...we should start a Transformer's hate thread. Because for some reason, the majority of the public seems to think that movie is the end all be all.

Alas, I believe that it is facing quite the opposite direction. Indeed.

Hey I heard that the first saw was based on actual events that happened, are 2,3,4 also based on real events or was it just the 1st.
