I am relatively new to the DC area. Anyone know of any decent movie festivals here? I also could do something down in Richmond.

I lived in the DC area for a few years and the best one to go to down there has to be the DC independent Film Festival that comes into town usually around March every year.

They usually give prizes away and hold nice seminars to attend.

Neat I just goggled that and it seems like it would be fun to attend. I'll have to mark that on my calender for next year.

Hmm, I just did a quick search, myself. It's in March, which would probably interfere with whatever classes I'll have at that time, but I'm interested. D.C. isn't that far away from me.
