I think I am going to slightly modify some of the skin to get rid of the white ... maybe a lighter sand color or something. Any suggestions?

I think this looks great. It's different from the other forums but it is very easy on the eyes.

I agree, it's a fantastic colour and it goes so well with the theme of your forum. It is very inspiring for others too, I love it.

The current one certainly isn't bad, but I myself prefer something that's dark, yet easy on the eyes.

I dunno, I'm really used to white-on-black color schemes, but I'm not too picky with forum layouts. :)

I'm right with Izanagi. I like the light on dark schemes because they are so visually appealing.
But I don't think that would fit with this forum.
However, it would be cool if you could get some skin options up for users.
So that we/they can pick their own personal how do ya do.

I like this skin, when I first got to the forum I was like "urgh" but I have to say you've pulled it off very well ;)
Anyway, in my opinion, I think this color scheme goes well with an indie style forum. Don't ask me why because I don't have a clue, but it seems an indie-ish color. :P
